Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) Program

Sergeant Fred Ferrer attended Martinez Criminal Justice Training Center’s Reserve Officer Modules while working fulltime at Chevron.  After completing the modules, he was accepted into the Martinez Police Department’s Reserve Officer Program. He decided to become a full-time officer with the City of Martinez. During his tenure with the Martinez Police Department, he held numerous specialty assignments and currently the Administrative Sergeant.

Fred wanted to give back to the school that started his career so he is now an Instructor and helps shape the future of Law Enforcement Officers in our community.
