Welcome to the fall/winter Quarters at Martinez Adult Education

Suzanne Murphy, DirectorDear Martinez Community,

I hope you are enjoying the summer and have had a chance to spend some quality time with family and friends. Please find in this brochure our official class offerings for the fall/winter quarters for the 22/23 school year. New and exciting programs have been added to the school, and some are offered at no cost to students. We are also very excited to be hosting a Diablo Valley College class, Introduction to Business. We wanted to offer our students and anyone in the community a chance to take a DVC class in their own community. The information on how to register for this class can be found on page 8 of the brochure.  As an added incentive, Martinez Adult Education will cover the cost of the book for this class if you register for the class at Martinez Adult Education. We are very excited that Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) classes will be resuming this fall under the direction of our new POST coordinator, Darius Parks. Classes will start in the early fall. Please see page 15 for more information on the classes. Finally, we are starting a new Pharmacy Technician training program. This program is offered at no cost (tuition and books included). Please see page 12 of the brochure for more information and to register for an orientation. We are offering learning flexibility in many of our classes. Our different learning modalities are explained on page 3. We invite you to watch the video to learn more about these options. We are here to support our community and look forward to seeing you soon in one of the many wonderful classes

Suzanne Murphy, Director
